What neffy is

neffy® is a needle-free epinephrine nasal spray. Health Canada approved it in April 2026 for adults and children weighing 30 kg (66 lb) and up. There is a smaller 1 mg dose for children from 15 kg to under 30 kg, and it is not approved in Canada yet.

It is dispensed as a two-spray pack, and both sprays are meant to be carried together.

Why it changes the pouch

An auto-injector is a tube. Two of them lie side by side and the pouch was built around that shape. A neffy pack is squarer, and two doses want a little more width than two EpiPens do.

Our older pouches are 7.5 cm across. Two neffy doses do go in, but tightly, and how tightly depends on the pouch. The liner, the interfacing and the fabric all take up room.

So we made it wider. The newer ones are 8 cm across and 21 cm long, not counting the strap, and two neffy doses sit in them perfectly. The rectangular shape of the pouch did not change and the belts are the same. It also still holds up to two of the same auto-injector, including EpiPen®, ALLERJECT®, AUVI-Q® and Emerade™ 0.3 mg, or a single Emerade™ 0.5 mg dose. You do not have to choose.

Which pouches fit neffy?

Our newer designs are a little wider, 8 cm across instead of 7.5, so two neffy doses go in and zip up without a fight. Each one has been checked with a neffy pack in hand.
